2011 marked the final year that the Hawthorn Football Club would wear its White Clash Guernsey that it first wore in 2008. During 2011, the guernsey was worn in all NAB Cup and NAB Challenge matches against Fremantle, West Coast, North Melbourne, Richmond and Melbourne, whilst making appearances in Home and Away Season matches in Round 1 vs Adelaide at AAMI Stadium, Round 7 v Port Adelaide at AAMI Stadium and finally in Round 19 v Fremantle at Patersons Stadium.
This is the final time that the full set of this popular guernsey design is to be auctioned. Each individual guernsey has been signed on the back of the guernsey on the white number, and comes to the successful bidder with a club issued Authenticity Certificate.
This is Clash Guernsey #27, which was worn by Stephen Gilham during the two Season 2011 matches at AAMI Stadium. He has signed the guernsey on the number, and it will come to the successful bidder washed.
Bidders please note that this guernsey will be available for collection from Waverley (after phone confirmation) or delivery from late September 2011.
